Rather than teaching us in the trenches dating techniques, most offer superficial “dating advice” based on the general study of women in a laboratory or analyst’s chair. In this column, XXX shares with you skills and techniques to succeed with women, something which has long held a deep mystique among the male population.

- Well, I’m sure that the thought of why is some guys are just simply so successful with women while some are just not must have crossed your mind at some point of time in your life. And perhaps you might be wondering if that successful guy has something that the less successful guy does not. Perhaps he has a “Glib tongue” or perhaps he just has a natural flair to have his way with the ladies? Well, maybe. But a noticeable common trait of all smooth guys is their ability to present themselves with confidence. And perhaps that is the key. Confidence bring them success and success bring them even more confidence in their next venture.

- Don’t bother denying that “ego” is not in your dictionary. It is the male’s testosterone that drives our ego. Instead of letting your ego tell you what to do, stop for a minute and think about the needs and wants of the girl that you like. Of course, it is still the best to consult her. Accept the fact that what the lady wants may not always make sense, because usually it never does. Whether it make sense or not, however, should never concern you, because all that matters is WHAT WORKS. It is fact that females are on the upper hand because in the animal kingdom they select their mates. But the thing is, they don’t have to know what! When you talk to a women the next time, say something like: “I’m about to tell you something you never knew about yourself.” This puts her on the edge of the seat. Now that you have captured her curiosity, this makes things much easier.
“I’m about to tell you something YOU never knew about yourself..” - Perhaps another way would be just catching her off guard. Say you want to chat up a particular gorgeous yet arrogant woman. You start a conversation with, “Stop fooling me, dear.” Now, something interesting is going on here. I know this is not the normal way to start a conversation with a babelicious woman, however, this creates confusion, and you can actually use this confusion to your advantage. When she asks:”What are you talking about?” you can say “actually you may seem tough on the outside but I know you’re very sensitive on the inside.” This messes up her thoughts. You have just hit her soft spot. Now, start talking about the stereotypical pick up scene and how woman play men to let her know you’re an insider and not falling for her mind game. Done! You’re in control of the situation. Drop a few more profound comments and she wouldn’t leave you alone (but make sure you act like you want to be alone). Look cool. Show that you are in control. Because you now know you are.
