David Ginola (born January 25, 1967) is a former French international football player who has also worked as a model.
He began his football career in his native France before moving to England in 1995 when he signed for Newcastle United and stayed in the country until retiring seven years later, having subsequently turned out for Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Everton.
He was also a regular player for the French national team during the 1990s.

On his debut at the International Wine Challenge, Mr Ginola was awarded a silver medal for his Coste Brulade 2007 Rose, from Cotes de Provence.
The judges said: "Pale pink in colour. Gentle strawberry fruit flavours with notes of minerality and a lovely soft texture. Smooth and stylish."
They also approved two other wines by Mr Ginola.
The flamboyant Frenchman is not the only sporting celebrity to turn his attention to wine and be recognised by the IWC for doing so.
South African golfer Ernie Els was given three silver medals for his Bordeaux-style reds.
The Ernie Els 2004, from the Western Cape, was congratulated for its "big, clean oak fruit nose, and a fresh green fruit palate".
The Cirrus 2006, using shiraz and viognier grapes, was also commended.
The judges said: "Concentrated depth with ripe, crunchy berries. Some wood, savoury mouthfeel with velvet overtones and sweet tannins."
His third wine, Guardian Peak Lapa Cabernet Sauvignon 2006, was hailed for its "violet ruby colour and intense fruit".
American film director Francis Ford Coppola was commended for his Diamond Collection Red Label Zinfandel 2006.
